[ask] Upgrade to 3.6.4 and what about skin? - Forums Help - vBulletin, IPB, phpBB, SMF skins and community

Hi everyone

Well... I have a VB forum 3.6.0.. and a free skin very cute ^^ I want to upgrade to 3.6.4 but I'm concerned about this can affect my skin. For example problems about outline or missing images to new features, etc.

Can I upgrade my forum 3.6.0 to 3.6.4 without problems with my skin?

And.. if I upgrade.. can reverse later to 3.6.0 again?

If admin is agree I'd like to put link to my forum and where I downloaded my free skin so you can see it and give me your opinions.

Hi,

Just take the backup before upgrading

and then upgrade...revert and change some templates...there WONT be any problem with the skin...if u dont like the upgrade...just upload the backup once again to ur webserver..wud solve the thing

Hello Shido

ronak gave you the answer for that, just backup your board and then upgrade. In most cases your skin won't be affected but if your skin is attached to the functionality of the board then it might be affected. And yes you can post your link here.
