Wow, that is a messed up forum, in my honest opinion. Is it still running as of the moment?

I guess you could put up a debate section where the girls could go and fight for their own opinions. But mods should always be there to moderate things that are going too personal like "you talk like s**t" which is not a part of debates anymore.

Change of any kind will always face some opposition , but we can try to introduce it in a way that the people think it's they who are bringing about the change and not the Admin of the forum.I'd try to state my problems in a way so that it seems their problem too and then ask for suggestions on how to solve it.Once the suggestions start pouring in, I will encourage a few whose ideas come closer to what I originally had in mind and then use up ideas of several girls to add and substract and present it to them and gauge their reaction. The rest,I believe ,will be less difficult.I am sure there will still be voices against the changes ,but hopefully they will acclimatize once the real troublemakers leave.

Ultimately no matter how much they whine that it is 'their' forum too, it isn't. The forum belongs to the admin and at the end of the day his say is final.

The only time I would dispute that is in the case of outright discrimination such as in the case Alexis mentioned. Otherwise, rules should be enforced across the board, evenly.

I think if you go to a site, you obey the rules set. Just like when you visit someones home, place of business, etc. You follow the rules, or your not welcome back. Its not that hard to follow rules, read them, remember them, if you forget, go back and look them over, or ask someone. Not really that hard. Follow the rules, or don't be there, not hard at all.

Crazyqueen you are correct. The members all agreed to abide by the rules when they joined the site.

It seems that the easiest way to overcome this is to add a clause to the rules that new rules may be added, or rules changed at the management's discretion. That way new members who accept that have no room to complain.

The forum I Admin for has gone to hell. A few new members that one of my fellow Admins is friends with is trashing the place, and I don't have enough support from other members to do anything about it

Really sucks, to feel powerless in a position of power.

If it's just a few members breaking the rules everytime ,I'd ask them to choose between following the rules or be banned. The first few threads can be moved to off-topic forum , but if that becomes the norm then I think it's only right to ban them and let the other members enjoy the community and discuss the topic the forum is meant for.
