My Pet Peeve

My number one Pet Peeve with forums is:

Posters who use bad language and have their minds in the gutter. I wish more admins would delete these posts. Nothing will make me leave a forum quicker. I can even take the angry posters, if only they would watch their language.

How about you, what's your Pet Peeve?

My pet peeve is pretty much the same thing, also not being able to find admins, especially on largely populated forums. I was on Digital Point and had something I needed to speak to the head admin about. I couldn't find information anywhere, there was at least 25 people called admin.

I have 2 pet peeves. My first is poorly organized forums. I hate it when I go to a new forum and nothing makes sense. Or they have a gazillion boards with 10 posts in each one.

The second thing is when I register and then have to wait for an admin to approve my registration. When that happens I almost always move on. When I register it is because I want to post. If I have to wait a couple of days before I can post, I usually lose interest.

My pet peeve is overbearing rules. Things like warnings for digging up threads older than a week without a post, not allowing almost anything in your signature, teeny avatar allowances. It drives me crazy when I have to spend more time thinking about what I can do than about what I want to post.

My pet peeve is annoying members with terrible spelling, and freakin trolls!

Oh and, good members leaving over stupid things.

Especially that last one, that's my biggest pet peeve!

Also spammers are another serious problem, or n00bz who think they are high and mighty hot $**t when they first join!

Mine is when members make themselves like the owner of the site. I mean they seem like they know everything saying this and that but actually doesn't know exactly what is going around. Forums are made to help each other and not to make yourself stand above the rest.

Mine is not ness. the language used on a forum, but when admins and mods do not take care of things they should, like long time members that will troll new people just for the fun of it.
