Color Ranks/Legends ... - Forums Help - vBulletin, IPB, phpBB, SMF skins and community

Hi,

Is there a Mod or something for colored ranks like they are on this forum, for each group or is it included in the standard group setup?

I cannot find a mod anywhere

so im guessing i have missed something, but can someone please confirm

It's set up in the standard settings. When you set up member groups, there are two fields up at the top that lets you put the html headers to wrap about the names of members in the usergroup.

What MadHatter said. Be sure not to go overboard with them. Don't have so many usergroups that you can't tell them apart. I often find them confusing.

I like to keep it simple, because like Trev said, it can get confusing if you have too many groups. We have Admin, Super Mod, Mod, Member, Validating, and Banned. It works out well that way.
