I have never heard of this program. It seems like an awesome way to convert forums, I wondered how they did it.

Just so you know, a friend of mine had the chance to learn this week when swapping from VB to SMF with a converter, it will all of the posts on the board, but it doesn't move over users Pm's, not sure if going from SMF to VB would be the same, but thought I would put it out there in case you didn't know.

How do you convert content from one program to another? Aren't all these programs "competitors"? Like Invision and Proboards aren't they like two of the biggest free forum software sites (for example) known?

You can't convert free forums though. And the competitor often puts out a converter that converts all the other forum softwares to theirs.
