New forum's content!

Hey guys
Many people face this popular problem when starting a new forum, which is the forum's content.. so I thought that would be a good topic to start. How to build a forum content? Is it paid posts? coppied articles? articles ready made database? Give us your experience

What is the relation of this post to the topic? I've viewed all of your of posts and they all have no relation with topic. You posted them just to pass the 10 posts limit. So I will delete all the repeated ones and give you an infraction.

I dont think a way to start a new forum is by paid posts.

I think the best way would be copied articles, but giving credit to the orginal source of course.

My traffic comes by directly talking to the people, so for me theres no need to advertise the site. The content on the site is of the actual users themselves, pictures that is. So they come to the site to the pictures. I make a requirement of 2 posts to see the gallery, which is ran by vbgallery, can be found at photopost.com

The 2 post requirement is the "fee" they have to "pay" to gain access to his area. Which helps the forum grow and gives new memeber something to comment on. I get rid of the spam posts, by making new uses not able to post new threads.

My site doesnt have the "how to get traffic" problems others would but Im going to follow this thread closely as Ive been wanting to start a new site that isnt so specific as my site is now.

Paid Forum Posting

Paid posting can work well, but only if you ensure that your hired poster knows the content at hand well or is able to research the topic on his/her own time. I like to start out with just a few sample posts from a prospective poster that I'll gladly pay for before I hire someone longterm.

That's a good idea Kevin, but I think copied articles may harm a forum badly search engine optimization wise.

Hello forumposters and welcome to Forums Help
You have a good point but the problem will always be how to ensure that you are hiring the right person for posting quality posts?
