Admin panel (other soft) - Forums Help - vBulletin, IPB, phpBB, SMF skins and community

So anyone know of any free forum software with a similar admin panel to vbulletin? I really like the control of vbulletin, but not the price tag! ha!

So I'm on the lookout for a good "mock" software.

You could find a forum package like vBulletin, but that is half the story. vBulletin has a huge following with many many websites running it. You have people writing add ons and skins. You also have a commercial company to support vBulletin. In the long run, it will be cheaper to run vBulletin. You can find tons of free skins, fee add ons, and you can tap the huge development pool to help customize your forum all you want. On my forum, I have only bought one add on and the rest (even the skin) is free.
