My favorite forum has just around 1,000 members, with 900ish of those being teenagers from 13-18. We have four (4) admins, four (4) global mods, and twenty (20) mods. The global mods also have sections the specifically moderate. Our forum generates fifty (50) posts on a weekday when the "kids" are in school and anywhere from one hundred to two hundred (100-200) on a weekend or in the summer when they are bored. We recently increased the numbers due to issues with behavior. It has settled down quite nicely now though.
