Again this is an excellent point. The rules apply across the board, not just to those who choose to follow them and not just to those who are made to follow them. Admin staff too are not exempt.

Not much left for me too say. Some excellent points were made here. For my mods, I have them get rid of the junk posts and members, move/close whatever needs to be done, to stay active and to become an example for the other members on the forum.

SingleAgain, I would never let the members know I refer to them as children. I have always been good at stroking egos. And yes a forum is a dictatorship. Hopefully with a benevolent dictator. Or it won’t last too long.

The admin should also know the mods. Knowing and being able to judge your staff is part of the admin’s job. You have to know who might be shielding themselves or a specific few and placing blame on other members. Just like a parent knows their children, they know when things don’t appear as they should. There’re always two sides to everything. Getting to the bottom of major issues is the responsibility of the admin.

I agree to this 100%. The admins must be able to see each side before even proclaiming the verdict of a situation inside the forum. Admins should always be in the middle and not taking sides. Admin will make the matter "clearer as the sunlight in a cloudless day." If mods could do this as well, then the forum will be very stable.
