Sensoring banned from User title

I want to censor the word {Banned} from the user title in the forum. Some past members who were banned are still showing banned in their user title. I tried adding Banned in censored words for profile but it's still showing in their user titles. Am I doing it wrong ? Is there a way to get it done ?

I think censoring "{Banned}" from the ysernames only applies to new users. Are these people still signing up with that in their name even after you put the censoring?

The only thing I could think would be to add a custom user title for them. I assume that this is what you were referring to-the bit under their username that says 'banned', and you can't get rid of that now?

So try, just temporarily adding a custom user title, or adding them to a new custom group.

Yes, the part under their user title continues to say banned though I have censored the word {banned} for user profiles. The members who were banned in the past continue to have that tag under their user names. Well, I could try adding custom user titles and will see if it works.

I do not think that censoring the word would affect a thing. The censoring applies only to the text input into the text box; the replies that users make and usernames that they choose, not the things that are coded into board. Since 'banned' is coded into the board, it won't change.

I would seriously try and add them to a custom group that has a custom title. They don't have to stay there, just use it at a clearing method.
