Reinstalling a forum

Hey, i wanted to know if its possible to REINSTALL IPB, so that it does NOT clear my registered users and posts on the forum. I am already on IPB 2.3.1 so i dont think it will be possible to upgrade/downgrade, and if i fresh install the forum everything gets cleared out which i do not want.

I want to reinstall the forum as i keep getting soooo many errors with it, so if this reinstallation DELETES my mods on the forum, i would not mind, as i think the errors come from some of the mods i have installed.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

You could upload all the original files again, and delete the mods using the Universal Mod Installer or by going into the database and manually importing some tables from the original database.
