Do you guys like IPB?

I've used it for a number of forums now, and I love it. May not have as many features as vB, but I think it's much easier to use and skin, and it is quite clean.

I like it as well compared to some of the others I've used. But it also depends on the amount of customization that has been put into the site. A custom skin and modifications that deal with every detail makes for a nicer forum, where a generic or (cringe) default skin and no modifications make for a utilitarian forum which is little to no fun. I've helped several friends make forums using it though and it is indeed a joy to skin and can be tweaked to have a few needed features for easy usage.

I really like IPB as well. It's very easy to skin and manage. I think it's perfect for not as big forums. If you want something more advanced though, and more customized, I think vB is the way to go.

I think if you want something basic, and something where you just want to be able to have a community to be able to discuss a subject and not have tons of modifications, then Invision is a good choice. If you want tons of mods, then vB is the top of the line.

IPB is and has always been my favourite forum software. It is easy for both members and admin staff to use, most customisable than I have ever wanted (meaning that nothing that I wanted could not be done) and was easily skinable. I never had trouble with this software, it was great.

I like it as well. I've tried both vB and it, and I just like the overall feel of IPB better.

I like it as a mod, and as a user, but it is so expensive. Our budget might not stretch that far.

Is there really enough good about it to make it worth the price tag? What sells it?
